I’m a city boy turned rural doctor who still lives and works in a small Australian country town. I love your podcast and was able to see you on the 2023 80s cruise and am booked for 2025 even though Miami is as far removed from the Australian bush as you can get. My country town born wife and me have always loved MJF and can tell you from lived experience ‘Doc Hollywood’ is not fiction. It is a great movie that highlights many of the joys of life away from the big smoke.
We love your podcast and loved your trivia sessions-particularly with Midge Ure- tearing up with joy just remembering it. Younger people just dont seem to understand what live aid meant for the world.
