The Unused Acceptance Speech

No, that’s not the title to a missing Hardy Boys mystery – when Stuck in the ’80s was named a finalist for this year’s People’s Choice Podcast Awards, Spearsy and Brad in LA had to cut together a video acceptance speech that would have been shown at the online ceremony had we won.  SPOILER ALERT:  We did not win.

Thus the video languished on Brad in LA’s hard drive, and hasn’t been seen by more than a handful of people.  We had fun putting it together, though, so we thought we’d share it here.  Thanks to all who cast ballots for us in the first round of voting, you’re the reason we got as far as we did!  Now, get yourself a refreshing beverage and enjoy this 2 minute clip of silliness:

Episode 526: Halloween Tribute to Goofy Vampire Flicks of the ’80s

This year, we celebrate Halloween by honoring (or maybe dis-honoring) two goofy vampire flicks of the ’80s: “Once Bitten” and “My Best Friend is a Vampire.” You decide which one rules the night.
